When I met with Jill and Gordon for their maternity session I asked, “Do you know if you’re having a boy or a girl?”. I smiled when Jill said “We don’t know.” It is easy to find out the gender of your baby in utero, and I think it is exciting that some couples choose to save that for the moment of birth!
I had the honor of capturing Jill and Gordon’s wedding day in November of 2006, and was so excited to see them again for these special moments. Watch for their newborn’s photos in future posts!

When I photograph Seniors, the Natasha Bedingfield song “Unwritten” always comes to mind. I love the lyrics…
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Where will the road after high school take this bright, beautiful young woman?

We had to get Mom Michana in a shot with the matching jerseys - Go Bucks!

This shot was requested by Mom - love it!

For engagement sessions, I like to encourage couples to choose a location that is meaningful to them. It makes their images unique to them, plus - it is nice for me to shoot someplace new!
A family farm in New Albany was the setting for this shoot… simply gorgeous.

without my Dad. My father passed away April 10th and we miss him so very much! He was a wonderful man, husband, father and grandpa… and very much a part of our lives. It has been 4 weeks now and we are still wondering - what ever will we do without him?

Congratulations Megan & Jason! I had the honor of capturing their wedding last year, and today visited their home to see precious James Frederick at just one week old. I love the awesome nursery decor, especially the wall art reading ”PEACE LOVE BABY” - a gift for Megan from Jason. There weren’t many serene, sleeping baby shots for me today… little James was wide awake! Enjoy this sneak peek.

My friend Shellie’s gorgeous daughter Tiffany ~ grown up and getting married! They came up here from Huntington last week to chat about their wedding plans and take some photos.. I had a blast with this FUN couple - they were up for anything! Brandon is such a wonderful guy and is obviously head over heels in love with Tiffany. Here is a sneak peek for the happy couple, mom, grandma and everyone… ;)

This precious girl made a grand entrance - arriving 7 weeks early! Her mom Jennifer, spent the day prior as Maid of Honor to Miranda, one of my beautiful August ‘08 brides. I just love brown eyes ~ isn’t she beautiful?! The last image is of their family pug who followed us around the house just waiting for her turn to pose!

I had the honor of capturing Sandy & Michael’s wedding last year, and was so tickled see their beautiful little girl again. Abbey is sweet and easy going… and oh so generous with her smiles!
